Testing is a small, fast-moving technology company based in Delhi, and we're looking for a Full Stack Developer (MERN) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you'll own features end-to-end across the stack — from crafting responsive React interfaces to designing Node.js and Express.js services backed by MongoDB — and you'll see your work ship quickly and directly impact our users and product direction. Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain full stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, taking features from concept through deployment and ongoing support. • Develop clean, reusable, and responsive frontend components in React with solid HTML and CSS, translating product requirements and design mockups into polished user experiences. • Build and document RESTful APIs in Node.js and Express.js, including authentication, authorization, validation, and error-handling patterns. • Model and query data in MongoDB, designing efficient schemas and indexes and optimizing performance as data volume grows. • Write readable, well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews, keeping quality high and technical debt low on a small team. • Manage branching, code review, and releases through Git-based workflows, contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes. • Debug and resolve issues across the stack, from browser rendering and network behavior to server-side logic and database queries. • Collaborate daily with product, design, and fellow engineers in an Agile environment — breaking down work, estimating, and communicating progress and trade-offs clearly. Qualifications: • 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications as a full stack developer, with meaningful depth on both frontend and backend. • Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js (all four are mandatory). • Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous patterns such as promises and async/await. • Solid command of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility. • Proven experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs. • Comfortable with Git version control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues independently across the stack. • Effective team collaboration and clear written and verbal communication inside a small, cross-functional team. • Familiarity with Agile development practices, including iterative delivery and sprint-based planning.
