Our mission

Job hunting and hiring both take a lot of time for very uneven returns. Candidates send applications into systems that never respond. Employers wade through volumes of resumes trying to find the handful of people who are actually a good fit for the role. Our mission is to make that exchange faster and more useful for everyone involved, using AI-assisted screening to help the right candidates and the right roles find each other sooner.

We’re building RemIntern around a simple idea: hiring works best when it’s efficient without being impersonal. That means giving candidates a clear, honest process, and giving employers tools that actually reduce the noise in their pipeline instead of adding to it.

Why we exist

Most hiring tools were built for one side of the table — either candidate-facing job boards or employer-facing applicant tracking systems. Few of them are designed to make the whole exchange better for both parties at once. We started RemIntern because we believe AI-assisted screening, when used thoughtfully, can cut down the back-and-forth that makes hiring slow and frustrating, without losing the human judgment that ultimately decides who gets hired.

We’re still early in that journey. Our platform, our features, and our guidance are all evolving as we learn from the candidates and employers who use it.

Fit over noise

Hiring shouldn’t mean sorting through hundreds of applications by hand, or candidates shouting into the void. We focus on surfacing genuine fit for both sides.

AI as an assistant, not a gatekeeper

We use AI to speed up screening and highlight what matters, but the goal is always to get the right people talking to each other faster — not to replace human judgment.

Fair to both sides

A hiring platform only works if it serves candidates and employers equally well. We try to build features that respect everyone’s time and effort.

Early, and honest about it

We’re a growing platform, still building and improving. We’d rather be upfront about where we are than overpromise.
